Overview

In this role you will lead and independently deliver electronic document review projects for diverse mandates, guiding teams and engaging with clients. You will champion next-gen legal tech, including AI deployment, to elevate the firm’s document review offerings. As a primary expert, you will ensure quality, process improvements, and strong client relationships across litigation, arbitration, investigations, and data protection. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale the LDC’s capabilities and deliver exceptional service. This is a high-impact, client-facing leadership position with potential line management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end electronic document review projects across multiple practice areas
  • Define strategy with specialists and clients, including RelativityOne methodology and AI deployment
  • supervise Paralegal review team and validate outputs
  • act as escalation point for queries and primary LDC representative in client conversations
  • maintain clear communication across LDC, EDM, and lawyers throughout an instruction
  • conduct second-level review when required
  • optimize standard ways of working and implement robust quality controls
  • drive development and expansion of LDC offerings and awareness within the firm
  • lead deployment of next-gen technology, notably generative AI, in the EDR service line
  • manage workloads and project allocations with other practice groups
  • identify training needs and provide coaching to the EDR team

Key requirements

  • 5 years’ experience in a contentious legal team, specialist document review ALSP, or equivalent
  • High familiarity with RelativityOne and strong document review experience
  • Experience with deployment of gen-AI in legal delivery
  • Qualified solicitor in a common law jurisdiction
  • Ability to manage and collaborate with people at all levels
