The role is responsible for leading and supporting on annual compensation events such as the salary and bonus review, conducting data analysis (modelling, budgeting, project work) and completing standard reward activities (benchmarking, query resolution). The role will be part of the International Compensation team and support both International and UK compensation activities.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end delivery of the international annual salary and bonus review to ensure successful implementation, and administration of the firm’s compensation programmes. This will include process planning, supporting system configuration, setup and testing, acting as a key point of contact during the process for international HR teams and executive reporting for final sign-off.
- Prepare compensation models, reports and analytics to support annual processes and ad-hoc requests.
- Be responsible for the market data survey submission, market data benchmarking and analysis.
- Undertake job evaluation of roles to support UK and international processes.
- Lead and support on compensation, and wider HR projects from time to time as agreed, which may be UK or international in scope.
- Provide analytical support to the UK Reward Manager, undertaking activities such as gender pay analysis, changes to the real living wage, budgeting, salary structures, market data benchmarking and gap to market analysis.
- Assist with maintenance of the compensation policies and processes in line with the overall business strategy.
- Partner with international HR, Finance, and other key stakeholders, acting as a subject matter expert to ensure that Reward is seen as a visible partner which is relevant to the wider strategic agenda of the firm.
About You
- Be an accomplished Reward analyst with practical experience of salary and bonus reviews, market data benchmarking and compensation/HR systems.
- High level of proficiency with Excel (e.g. advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts and graphs) with the ability to manipulate and analyse data, as well as good PowerPoint and report writing skills.
- Able to communicate clearly, effectively and confidently both orally and in writing.
- Creative thinking, problem solving and attention to detail is essential.
- Apply specific knowledge and expertise to provide solutions to problems and respond positively and credibly, to overcome any barriers.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure. The role holder must be able to organise time well to deliver effectively.
- Collaborate and share by encouraging teamwork and building a strong team spirit.
- Ability to operate effectively and build relationships with stakeholders as part of a larger, international HR team within a matrixed, partnership environment.
