We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Architect to join our established team, contributing across all stages of the architectural design process within both the residential and commercial sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the delivery of design work for significant clients, demonstrating creativity, technical proficiency, and design integrity. Working closely with the Studio Leads, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects while collaborating within a supportive and dynamic studio environment.
Tasks & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will bring strong experience across both design and project delivery, with the ability to think strategically and a clear ambition to continue developing professionally. You will be operating at a comparable level and will have a proven track record of delivering projects within the residential and commercial sectors. Driven and highly motivated, you will demonstrate the capability to successfully lead projects from concept through to completion. A sound understanding of how to balance design excellence with business management and commercial considerations is essential to the role.
- Have experience of working on projects with a value of Β£5million +
- Managing projects by providing design and technical support.
- Liaising with key clients and be capable of discussing design/technical solutions to stakeholders including technical and non-technical clients β both in projects and at tender stage.
- Successful delivery of projects to a high level of quality and client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with delivering projects to principles of BIM Level 2 PAS 1192, BS EN ISO 19650-1.
- Excellent design and technical skills gained on a range of projects.
- Able to demonstrate the above project types in a portfolio of work upon interview.
- Highly articulate and able to communicate to clients and colleagues on all levels.
- Must be able to demonstrate experience in successfully delivering projects from inception to completion.
- Demonstrate the ability to be able to work with your own initiative.
- Have an organised and efficient approach.
The Candidate
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Fully qualified Architect with a minimum of 5 years post qualification UK experience.
- Have a background in residential and commercial sectors.
- Excellent Revit & Presentation skills (additional in-house training will be provided).
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Adobe Suite & good graphic presentation skills.
