DL M&E are searching for an experienced MEP BIM / Revit Technician to expand the current design capabilities of the business. DL have successfully completed highly prestigious projects within the UK utilising Revit within a BIM environment and now offer a position to further progress our proficiencies in this field.
The successful candidate will be involved with the development of MEP proposals alongside our in-house design team, working with our design engineers and supporting the design development as required by our clients. DL M&E are continually securing work for blue chip clients requiring BIM capabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Revit Engineer to further develop and grow the company's proficiency.
You will be responsible for the co-ordination of the BIM requirements for each project, working alongside the MEP Design engineers and assisting with:
- Design in the use of BIM and Revit for MEP Services.
- Involvement and contribution within BIM workflows.
- Audit and acceptance of project specific client BIM execution plans.
- Continuous development of the MEP Revit families for use by the teams.
- Commitment to producing consistency through different projects.
- Guiding the wider team in understanding of Revit and BIM protocols.
- Troubleshooting and workshopping any BIM issues.
- Producing detailed COBie schedules.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience working on large scale Revit projects.
- Experience with Navisworks to undertake clash detection / interference checks.
- Skilled user of Revit and firm understanding of BIM protocols.
- Demonstrated prior experience.
- Able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and an aptitude to mentor and train.
- Able to work accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines and client expectations.
