The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer, ideally with Electrical Authorised Person (AP) experience, to join our team. We currently have an office refurbishment project in Manchester City Centre starting in January, running for approximately 6 months. Following this, we can provide ample opportunity for consistent work and career progression, with involvement in further projects. If you're a reliable and experienced Engineer, we can offer extended work across multiple projects, with the potential for long-term contracts. Plus, there is plenty of overtime available to increase your earning potential.
Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer Main Duties and Requirements
- Carrying out high-quality electrical testing, inspection, and certification on commercial installations
- Acting as an Electrical Authorised Person (AP) where required, managing isolations, permits, and safe systems of work
- City & Guilds Inspection and Testing 2391 / 2392
- City & Guilds 2382-18 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ECS Gold Card
- Proven experience inspecting commercial electrical installations
- Excellent written and report presentation skills
- A demonstrable history of completing electrical inspections to a high standard
- Relevant, demonstrable experience in an Electrical AP role
