The Opportunity

We are on the lookout for an Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer. Working in DL M&E's Electrical Testing Department is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to expand their career portfolio and establish their presence in the industry by working on a variety of innovative projects throughout the U.K. Although DL M&E are based in the Northwest, we are keen to build our operations team across the U.K.

Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer main duties and requirements

  • City & Guilds Inspection and Testing 2391/2392
  • City & Guilds 2382-18 18th Edition Course, however training can be provided
  • ECS Gold Card
  • Experience inspecting commercial installations
  • Experience in a variety of sectors, particularly banking, leisure and retail
  • Excellent written presentation skills
  • A demonstrable history of completing electrical inspections with a fast turnover at a high quality
  • Liaising with the Testing Manager across a variety of projects
  • The ability to travel throughout the UK, overnight stays and out of hours working will be required.

In return for the above we offer an excellent remuneration package which includes:

  • Hourly rate of £20.46
  • Additional rates apply when supervising
  • Regular available overtime, including weekends, a lot of overtime is available
