Our client is an award-winning construction company that is committed to building long-term relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and clients and has been featured many times throughout the years. At present we are looking for Qualified Commercial Carpenters to join our client's mission of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from architectural and structural plans
- Construct, install and repair structures and fixtures made from timber, steel framing and other materials
- Formwork and concrete preparation
- Installation of doors, windows, partitions, ceilings, and cabinetry
- Fit-out and finishing work
- Measure, cut and assemble materials accurately
- Ensure all work complies with NZ Building Code and safety regulations
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors, subcontractors and other trades
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite
