We are looking for experienced and skilled HGV Truck and Trailer Technicians at our state of the art garage in Featherstone, to work on our modern mixed fleet of HGV Tractor Units and Trailers as well as selected 3rd party vehicles.
Working as part of the team the successful applicant will be expected to carry out the following duties as part of their day to day responsibilities to keep our fleet safe and roadworthy at all times.
Key Responisibilities:
- Diagnosing issues: Identifying mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repairing and replacing parts: Fixing or replacing faulty components.
- Performing Maintenance: Conducting routine maintenance including, safety inspections, tyre rotations and brake testing.
- Inspecting Trailers: Thoroughly examining trailers to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintaining Records:Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on each trailer.
- MOT Preps:Preparing and presenting trailers for yearly MOT.Collaboration with co-workers to identify and resolve any complex issues. xgikmsk

Essential Skills and Qualificiations:
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Qualificiation
