DKF is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to join one of our clients in the North West. Our client is a well-established, employee-owned consultancy specialising in compliance and training services across asbestos, water, fire safety, and occupational hygiene.
Core Responsibilities:
- Carrying out thorough asbestos surveys in both commercial and domestic properties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Accurately record all survey data using a tablet device while on-site, maintaining high standards of detail and consistency.
- Provide on-site mentorship and guidance to Trainee Surveyors, supporting their learning and development in real working environments.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of current asbestos surveying legislation, including HSG264 and associated guidance.
- Foster and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, clients, and members of the public, representing the company professionally at all times.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:
- Must hold BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent qualifications.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Good Health and Safety practices.
- Understand and follow current UKAS legislation and practices.
- Must be IT competent, in order to compile and maintain accurate reports.
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
