You should be detail-oriented, target-driven, and have solid experience in lifestyle publishing. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships will be crucial as you liaise with various internal teams and external partners.Your key responsibilities will include:Ensuring the DK LIFElist is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards.Communicating the status of all projects on the list regularly to the Publishing Director.Managing and developing a team of in-house desk editors, ensuring they are supported and guided to produce their best work, as well as external resource as required.Personally handling the editing of a handful of key titles each year.Collaborating with colleagues across the business, including design, production, digital, and our teams in Delhi, the US, and beyond, to ensure seamless project execution.We\’re looking for someone who is:An entrepreneurial and exceptionally well-organised self-starter.A proactive manager who takes ownership of project delivery and resolves issues effectively.A leader who inspires individual team members and fosters a growth mindset within the team.A confident, nimble principal who is resilient and able to adapt to evolving workflows and priorities.A strong communicator, capable of forging productive relationships both internally and externally.Working from the office a minimum of three days a week, you\’ll collaborate closely with our senior commissioning team and colleagues worldwide to steer the entire DK LIFE editorial output.
