Interim Capital Programme Delivery Manager
Location: Bristol
Length of Contract: 6 months
Rate: (Apply online only) a day (inside IR35)
Home working is accepted with 1-2 days in the office.
DK are seeking an experienced Capital Programme Delivery Manager to lead the planning and delivery of a complex capital programme within a Parks and Green Spaces service for a large Local Authority. This is a key role responsible for ensuring effective delivery of multiple capital projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Key responsibilities:- Lead delivery of a multi-project capital programme from planning through to completion
- Develop and maintain integrated programme plans, schedules, and milestones
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance in line with governance requirements
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and interdependencies
- Provide clear reporting and updates to senior stakeholders and governance boards
- Lead and support project/programme teams to deliver workstreams effectively
- Ensure compliance with corporate processes, policies, and financial regulations
- Engage and manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Proven experience in programme or project management of complex capital programmes
- Strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to lead teams in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
- Strong understanding of risk, governance, and programme controls
- Public sector or infrastructure experience desirable
