We are currently recruiting for an experienced Landscape Team Leader to join a growing and well-established landscaping and grounds maintenance company based near Torquay area. This is a permanent opportunity for a motivated and hands-on individual with strong leadership skills and experience in commercial or domestic landscaping and grounds maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and supervising a small landscaping/grounds maintenance team
- Carrying out grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, and general grounds maintenance duties
- Operating landscaping machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and within deadlines
- Maintaining health & safety standards across site operations
- Liaising with management and clients when required
- Organising daily workloads and ensuring productivity on site
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Landscape Team Leader, Foreman, or Supervisor
- Strong background in grounds maintenance and landscaping
- Experience with grass cutting, mowing, strimming, and hedge trimming
- Ability to lead a team and work independently
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Essential Certifications:
- CSCS Card
- Lantra Certification
- PA1 / PA6 (preferred)
- Brush Cutter / Strimmer Certificates
- SSSTS or similar supervisory qualification (advantageous)
