We are working with a fantastic Building Control team for a London Borough who are looking to bring on a Senior Building Inspector to join the team. Acting in a senior capacity, this is a crucial role within the organisation providing a range of professional services.
You will be carrying out site inspections, handling validations, and spearheading complex building regulation applications.
You will:
- bring relevant experience in the delivery and supervision of building control services.
- demonstrate a thorough understanding of buildings within the scope of the Building Safety Regulator.
- be registered with the Building Safety Regulator at minimum Class 2F.
- be educated to degree level in a relevant subject.
- be a member of a relevant professional body such as RICS, ABE, CABE, or CIOB.
- have excellent understanding of building regulations and processes alongside your ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and technical information.
- implement change and improvement processes, motivating others, and consistently producing high-quality work under pressure.
