PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR
Salary: £29,000 – £36,000 per annum DOE Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Location: Fully office-based
DK Recruitment are currently working with an established construction business who are looking for an experienced Project Administrator to join their Projects team.
This is a varied role supporting Project Managers with project administration, subcontractors, procurement, costs, Health & Safety and project documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, including attendance and H&S documentation.
- Assist with RFIs, additional works and meeting notes.
- Maintain project programmes and documentation.
- Obtain quotations, cost plans and tender information.
- Assist with project budgets, expenses and cost tracking.
- Monitor weekly project spend, including labour, materials, waste and equipment.
- Prepare project status and financial reports.
- Assist with CDM and O&M documentation.
- Manage procurement and raise purchase orders.
- Prepare project profit & loss information.
- Maintain H&S records and ensure documentation is correctly filed.
- Update Share Point and Fonn with project information.
- Prepare and issue monthly client valuations.
- Manage contract documentation and ensure records are kept up to date.
- Assist with diary management, meeting minutes and scheduling.
- Provide general administrative support to the Projects team.
About You
- Minimum 2 years' experience within the construction industry.
- Previous construction, project or similar administration experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Good understanding of construction projects and project logistics.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety documentation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English.
