DK Recruitment are on the lookout for a proactive and detail-driven Procurement and Cost Control Specialist to join a national leader in shop fitting and interior contracting. Based in Ivybridge, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that every project is delivered on time, within budget, and with the best value.
Day to Duties:
- Taking ownership of job budgets—tracking, reporting, and keeping spending on target.
- Collaborating with Project Managers and the Finance team to keep cost records accurate and up to date.
- Leading procurement efforts, from negotiating supplier rates to managing material orders and bookings.
- Staying on top of industry standards and compliance, especially regarding subcontractor agreements and procurement rules.
- Raising and processing purchase orders, and handling logistics like site accommodation when needed.
Essential Skills:
- A background in procurement and job costing within the construction or fit-out sector is essential.
- You’re analytical, organised, and comfortable with numbers and spreadsheets.
- Strong communicator who can juggle tasks and maintain supplier relationships with ease.
