We are currently seeking an experienced Diagnostic / Master Technician to join a busy and professional automotive workshop based in the Poole area. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled technician who enjoys fault-finding, complex diagnostics, and working with modern vehicle technology.
You will play a key role within the workshop, supporting the team with advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics using manufacturer and aftermarket diagnostic equipment
- Identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard
- Support and mentor junior technicians within the workshop
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Complete accurate job cards and diagnostic reports
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician
- Strong electrical and diagnostic fault-finding ability
- Relevant automotive qualifications (NVQ Level 3, IMI, or equivalent)
- Experience using modern diagnostic tools and software
- MOT Tester licence (desirable but not essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence
