We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day accounting function across our group of four companies. This is a hands-on, transactional role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the numbers and thrives on accuracy, structure, and getting things done.
The Role
- Reporting into senior management, you'll be responsible for the full accounting cycle across all four entities, including:
- Purchase and sales ledger management
- Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Processing supplier and customer invoices
- Payroll support and staff expenses
- VAT returns and other statutory compliance
- Month-end close and management accounts preparation
- Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Supporting year-end accounts and liaising with external accountants/auditors
- Maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities
About You
- AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent), with solid practical accounting experience
- Proven experience in a transactional, multi-entity accounting environment
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
- Confident using Excel for reconciliations and reporting
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
- Able to manage competing priorities across four separate businesses
- A proactive, hands-on approach — comfortable rolling up your sleeves
