As Internal Logistics Engineer, you will play a vital role in optimising internal logistics processes within our manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Warehouse Leader, this position focuses on ensuring efficient material flow, reducing waste, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support productivity and quality.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the movement of materials within the facility to ensure accurate and timely delivery to production lines.
- Leading and participating in continuous improvement projects to identify and address inefficiencies.
- Implementing and managing Mizusumashi (water spider) systems to streamline material handling and support just-in-time production.
- Analysing internal logistics processes and developing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Monitoring inventory levels to maintain optimal stock availability and minimise excess.
- Collaborating with production, quality, and supply chain teams to align logistics activities with broader business goals.
