An AAT Level 4 qualified Management Accountant is required for a 12‑month maternity cover role. You will support the Financial Controller and senior finance team, producing accurate management information and ensuring effective financial processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Weekly reporting including sales data, KPI packs and performance metrics using advanced Excel.
- Period‑end accounts including journals, accruals, repayments, cost analysis and commentary.
- Departmental spend analysis with clear explanations of variances against budget.
- Balance sheet reconciliations including payroll control accounts and weekly payroll journals.
- Audit support assisting with year‑end requirements.
- Fixed asset register maintenance including capex review and depreciation.
- VAT returns preparation and reconciliation of control accounts.
- Financial pack preparation including intercompany postings and final reporting.
- General finance support including payroll cover and ad‑hoc duties.
