Multi Trade Operative – Damp & Mould Team (5-Month Contract) Location: Bristol & Bath Contract: Temp – 5 Months Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8.00am-5pm Van Provided: Own Power Tools Required About the Role Our client is looking for an experienced Multi Trade Operative in their Damp and Mould Team on a 5-month contract, helping them deliver essential repairs and improvements across their housing stock in Bristol and Bath. You’ll play a key role in ensuring their residents’ homes are safe, dry, and comfortable; carrying out a range of repairs and remedial works linked to damp and mould issues. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be responsible for a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including: * Basic carpentry, replacing skirting boards, boxing in, and minor joinery works * Plumbing small repairs, refitting pipework, or replacing taps and traps * Painting and decorating, treating affected areas and restoring surfaces * Patch plastering, making good walls and ceilings following damp treatment * Drainage work, clearing and repairing guttering, downpipes, and drains * External works, sealing, pointing, and other preventative maintenance related to damp and mould What We’re Looking For * Proven experience in a similar multi-trade or maintenance role * Good knowledge of damp and mould repair methods * Ability to work to a high standard across several trades * A full UK driving licence * Own power and basic tools * Great communication skills and a customer-focused approach * Basic DBS or willing to get one If you would like to discuss this opportunity, please contact Ellie Benson on (phone number removed)/(phone number removed)
