About the Role: Our client is a reputable maintenance contractor working with social housing clients, and they’re looking for a skilled Multi-Trade Carpenter to join their team. You will be carrying out repairs and maintenance in tenanted properties, covering a wide range of work including kitchens, bathrooms, tiling, painting, patch plastering, basic plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out repairs and maintenance in occupied properties safely and efficiently
- Complete work to a high standard across various trades including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, painting, and plastering
- Maintain a professional and courteous approach when working in tenants’ homes
- Use company tools, van, and fuel card responsibly
- Report any issues or further works needed to your supervisor
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a multi-trade operative or carpenter
- Ability to work across a variety of trades (carpentry, basic plumbing, tiling, painting, plastering)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication skills and professional attitude
- Full UK driving licence
