We are currently seeking an experienced Kitchen and Bathroom Multi-Trader to join our clients team working on a social housing contract across Cornwall. This role involves carrying out planned installations and associated works within void social housing properties.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in kitchen and bathroom fitting and be confident completing a variety of multi-trade tasks to a high standard while working in residents’ homes.
Key Responsibilities- Installation of kitchens and bathrooms within social housing properties
- Carrying out associated multi-trade works including basic carpentry, plumbing, tiling and minor patch plastering
- Removal and installation of kitchen units, worktops, sinks, baths, showers and sanitary ware
- Wall and floor tiling where required
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in occupied properties
- Providing excellent customer service to residents
- Completing job sheets and reporting works through company systems
- Proven experience fitting kitchens and bathrooms
- Strong multi-trade background (carpentry, plumbing, tiling, basic plastering)
- Experience working in social housing or domestic properties
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Salary of £37,500 – £38,000 per year
- Full-time, permanent position
- Work on a long-term social housing contract
- Company vehicle and fuel card (if applicable)
- Tools and PPE provided
