About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our engineering business in Ivybridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a hands-on role, supporting employees, managers, and business leaders across all areas of the employee lifecycle. You will play a key role in developing and delivering effective HR strategies, improving employee engagement, and ensuring best practice across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional HR advice and support to managers and employees across the business
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding
- Support employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance processes
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives
- Support workforce planning and talent development within the engineering environment
- Promote a positive workplace culture and high levels of employee engagement
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation
- Work closely with senior management to support business objectives
