We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide a professional, commercially focused HR service that supports managers and leaders in delivering business objectives. The role will partner with stakeholders across the organisation, providing expert advice on employee relations, organisational change, workforce planning, recruitment, engagement, and people development. This is a full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract with hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers and senior leaders to deliver strategic and operational HR initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management, and performance issues.
  • Support organisational change programmes, restructures, and workforce planning activities.
  • Lead and support recruitment and retention initiatives.
  • Coach and develop managers to strengthen leadership and people management capability.
  • Promote employee engagement, wellbeing, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Analyse people data and trends to inform decision-making and improve HR practices.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and people strategies.
  • Collaborate with learning and development teams to identify and address capability needs.
  • Line manage and support HR Assistants, ensuring a high-quality HR service is delivered.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, data protection requirements, and organisational policies.

About You

  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience operating as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting organisational change, restructures, and complex employee relations cases.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to interpret HR data and provide practical, business-focused recommendations.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
