Gas Engineer

Our client, a family run plumbing and heating business, have an opportunity for a Gas Engineer to join their team in Cornwall.

Key Responsibilities

Service and repair domestic gas appliances and heating systems

Diagnose and resolve breakdowns efficiently and safely

Carry out minor plumbing works where required

Maintain excellent customer communication and professionalism

Work independently while knowing support is always available

Adhere to all Gas Safe and industry regulations

What We\’re Looking For

Gas Safe Registered

NVQ qualification or completion of a recognised apprenticeship route

Minimum 5 years\’ independent experience servicing gas (and/or oil) boilers and heating systems

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure

Desirable (not essential)

LPG qualifications

OFTEC

Experience with unvented systems
