Our client, a leading UK provider of maintenance, refurbishment, and retrofit solutions within the social housing sector, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded estimator with experience in responsive repairs, planned maintenance, refurbishment, or retrofit projects. You will play a key role in producing competitive tender submissions, supporting direct award opportunities, and working closely with operational and commercial teams to secure and deliver new business.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' estimating experience within repairs, maintenance, refurbishment, or retrofit
- Strong understanding of social housing, local authority, or public sector frameworks
- Ability to prepare detailed take-offs, pricing schedules, and tender submissions
- Knowledge of Schedule of Rates, term contracts, JCT and ACA contracts
- HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or a related discipline
