Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a fast‑moving production environment, maintaining critical equipment that keeps operations running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planned and reactive electrical maintenance of production machinery and site services
  • Fault‑finding and repair of electrical systems, control panels and PLCs
  • Supporting installation, commissioning and modification of new equipment
  • Working in compliance with food safety standards, hygiene regulations and health & safety procedures
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability projects

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in food manufacturing or a production environment
  • Strong fault‑finding skills on electrical systems and PLCs (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley or similar advantageous)
  • Experience with automated machinery desirable
  • Knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices in manufacturing
  • Ability to work shifts and respond to breakdowns
  • Team‑focused, proactive and solution‑oriented approach
