Role
Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a fast‑moving production environment, maintaining critical equipment that keeps operations running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance of production machinery and site services
- Fault‑finding and repair of electrical systems, control panels and PLCs
- Supporting installation, commissioning and modification of new equipment
- Working in compliance with food safety standards, hygiene regulations and health & safety procedures
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability projects
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in food manufacturing or a production environment
- Strong fault‑finding skills on electrical systems and PLCs (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley or similar advantageous)
- Experience with automated machinery desirable
- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices in manufacturing
- Ability to work shifts and respond to breakdowns
- Team‑focused, proactive and solution‑oriented approach
