DK Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established facilities and maintenance contractor for an experienced Multi-Trader to join their growing team covering Dorchester and the surrounding Dorset area.
This is a varied, customer-facing role carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial and residential properties.
The Role
As a Mobile Maintenance Multi-Trader, you'll be responsible for completing a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service.
Typical duties include
- General building maintenance and repairs.
- Basic carpentry, plumbing and painting & decorating.
- Patch plastering, tiling and flooring repairs.
- Door, lock and ironmongery repairs.
- Kitchen and bathroom maintenance.
- Reactive maintenance and planned works.
- Diagnosing faults and completing first-time fixes where possible.
- Accurately completing job reports using a handheld device.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Multi-Trader, Maintenance Operative or Property Maintenance role.
- Competent across multiple trades, ideally including carpentry, plumbing and decorating.
- Experience working within commercial, residential or social housing environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
