DK Recruitment are currently working with an established warehouse and logistics business in Coventry who are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced forklift operator looking for a stable, long-term position working 12-hour night shifts within a busy warehouse environment.
The Role
As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving stock and materials around the warehouse and loading/unloading vehicles. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving stock and materials around the warehouse
- Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties when required
- Ensuring goods are stored safely and correctly
- Completing relevant paperwork and warehouse documentation
- Following all health & safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence/certificate
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Good understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures
- Reliable and punctual approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts
