Looking for that New Year opportunity? DK Recruitment are recruiting for a forthcoming contract for a skilled CNC Machinist for our Devonport Dockyard based client. Experience required for this role : Programming and operation of CNC multi axis turning centres. Experience of one or more of the following CNC controls – Siemens and/or Mazak. Ability to work to fine tolerances (imperial & metric measurements) and use appropriate measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers). Able to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience of working within an engineering environment. Competencies required for the role: Excellent attitude towards Health & Safety and good working practice. Be flexible to variable work patterns, have a forward-thinking commercial attitude. Understand and demonstrate the necessity for excellent customer care. Qualifications & Experience Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent. Programming and operation of CNC multi axis turning centres. Ability to obtain and hold SC Security clearance is a requirement of this role. We are only able to consider UK Nationals. Hours: Mon-Thurs 07.30-15.30 Friday 07.30-12.30 Overtime may be available.
