Salary: £50,000£70,000 The Company A long-established independent building contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across Devon and Cornwall.

Working within an established commercial team, you'll take responsibility for the commercial delivery of multiple building projects from tender through to completion.

Responsibilities include: Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.

Preparing valuations and applications.

Cost reporting and monthly CVRs.

Managing variations and change control.

Negotiating final accounts.

Working closely with site teams and project managers.

Maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Essential Experience Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a commercial building or main contractor environment.

Experience delivering commercial property, healthcare, education or public sector projects.

Good knowledge of JCT contracts.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to commercially manage projects independently.

Qualifications Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Working towards or holding RICS/CIOB membership advantageous.
