We are currently looking for Precision Turners to work within a large, multi-skilled business with strong career opportunities and growth.
Main Duties:
- Set, Program and maintain CNC lathes to produce parts to required tolerances.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions.
- Select and install appropriate tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
- Conduct first-off and in-process inspection using measuring equipment.
- Ensure all work meets internal and customer quality standards.
- Setting Doosans, Tornos, Dahlih, Mazak or STARR Machines.
- Assist with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
- Support staff with Setting issues.
Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience as CNC Turner in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- A minimum of 5 years experience Turning and or Apprentice Trained.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Competent in using precision measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Set a variety of Turning machines/Programs.
- Working on a rotation shift - 0600-1400 & 1400-2200 Monday to Friday.
