As an Assembly Operator, you will be expected to perform assembly work within a manufacturing environment of hydraulic pumps and/or motors. A suitably competent individual demonstrating a consistent high standard of work in ensuring that the quality of products is maintained.
Duties:
- Assemble hydraulic pumps and/or motors in accordance with the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure all products are assembled in accordance with the Company’s quality and health and safety specifications.
- Test hydraulic units to customer specific specifications (further to specific training).
- Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Responsible for achieving hourly production targets.
- Ensure production controls are adhered to.
- Understand KPIs and achieve production targets.
- Communicate breakdowns or machine abnormalities to supervision and maintenance, log breakdowns on the main database.
- Maintain good 5S standards within your area of work and look for methods for continuous improvements.
- Exhibit flexibility to support production.
- Perform daily checks in accordance with the Company’s production engineering and quality procedures.
Hours of work: 0600-1400 rotating to 1400-2200 Monday to Friday.
