Working with a fantastic business in Liverpool, we are recruiting for an Air Freight Manager. The primary focus will be Air Freight, but knowledge of Ocean and Road is needed, along with Customs and Sales experience. So an "all-rounder" would be perfect.
This position would suit either an established manager or a Junior Manager looking to take a step up. Managing a small team, you will have:
- Demonstrable exposure to Air and Seafreight within a freight forwarding environment.
- Strong operational knowledge of freight suppliers, hauliers, and forwarding networks, with a sales background.
- Sound Customs knowledge.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance Customer Service and profitability.
- Excellent negotiation skills along with industry contacts.
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to step into operational detail when required.
- Highly organised, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused.
