As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Head of DKMBA to lead and evolve the academy’s operations, develop new educational resources, and elevate the experience for our members.
Role OverviewAs the Head of DKMBA, you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the academy, ensuring a seamless experience for our members.
- Plan and develop new courses and educational content to keep the academy cutting-edge and relevant.
- Manage the academy’s online community, increasing engagement, scheduling posts, and driving member satisfaction.
- Drive sales and conversion strategies, optimizing the academy’s funnel and ad campaigns.
- Collaborate with Damian Keyes to develop social media strategies, content ideas, and campaigns to grow our online presence.
- Implement ad strategies and monitor their performance across all DKMBA and Damian’s platforms.
- Build systems and processes that enable growth, including playlist management, member inquiries, and consultations.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for music, education, and community building, paired with strong organizational skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Key Responsibilities- Academy Management: Manage inbox queries, cancellations, playlist requests, and other day-to-day operations. Oversee weekly tasks such as Facebook posts, member onboarding, playlist updates, and live session preparation. Maintain and update key documents, including churn rates, payments, and invoices via Stripe.
- Content and Course Development: Collaborate with Damian to conceptualize, plan, and produce new courses for the academy, as well as working to find other tutors with specialist expertise and experience. Continuously review and improve the content funnel and advertising strategies to drive sales and engagement. Develop the community aspect of DK-MBA (with the team) through posts, competitions, giveaways, support & conversation.
- Social Media and Community Engagement: Plan, post, and manage DKMBA and Damian’s social media content across TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Engage with the community through posts, stories, broadcast channels, and testimonials. Work closely with the video editor to produce and refine content.
- Growth and Strategy: Research new ideas to increase outreach and grow the DKMBA community. Test and refine new strategies for ads, funnels, and content. Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- A passion for music and a strong understanding of the challenges musicians face today.
- Proven experience in project management, community building, or education-related roles.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and tone of voice.
- Experience with social media management, content creation, and ad campaigns.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Stripe, Google Docs, Canva, and social media platforms.
- Initiative, adaptability, and a proactive approach to solving challenges in a fast-paced environment.
This is a remote role based in the UK, with a starting salary of 30,000 GBP per annum, dependent on experience. Bonus potential is uncapped as we continue to scale. The ideal candidate will have the ambition to grow into a managerial role, overseeing a team as the academy expands.
