Please note this job is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm in our manufacturing lab at Morrich House, 20 Davidson Drive, Invergordon, United Kingdom, IV18 0SA.

Your Role:

• Prepare, label and organise laboratory samples in line with site procedures.
• Carry out routine laboratory checks and support testing following clear instructions.
• Support quality checks on raw materials, packaging and finished products.
• Record results accurately and report any issues or unexpected results.
• Keep the laboratory clean, organised and safe at all times.
• Support the calibration, cleaning and upkeep of laboratory equipment.
• Monitor laboratory supplies and help keep testing materials stocked.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality and R&D teams to support production and product quality.
• Follow health and safety, hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
• Take part in training and development opportunities as you build your laboratory skills and experience.

About you:

We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Whether you're just starting out or looking to build on existing experience, you'll be excited by the opportunity to develop practical laboratory skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. An interest in science, quality or manufacturing is key, and any previous laboratory or regulated industry experience would be a bonus, but not essential.

You will have:

• An interest in science, quality, manufacturing or laboratory work.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Confidence working with numbers, measurements and recording information clearly.
• A safe and responsible approach to work.
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office or similar systems.
• GCSEs, A-levels, HNC/HND or similar in a science-related subject, or a keen interest in developing a science-based career.
• Previous experience in a laboratory, quality or manufacturing environment is a bonus, but not essential.
• Knowledge of GMP, COSHH, laboratory safety or basic laboratory equipment would be advantageous.
