As part of this successful and growth driven global manufacturing organisation, the business now requires a Marketing Executive to join their team, who will be responsible for supporting and developing the marketing communication function within the business. The successful candidate will be engaged on a fixed term contract basis for up to 6 months. This role has hybrid/flexible working arrangements.
The Role:
- Supporting the implementation of the marketing strategy
- Creating marketing materials and engaging with relevant stakeholders across the business
- Bridging the gap between marketing and the customer network
- Supporting the internal team with the production and management of datasheets
- Assisting with social media, website and exhibitions as required
- Managing day-to-day requests into the Marketing Team
The Candidate:
Ideally of graduate standard, preferably from within a commercial, marketing or communications based discipline, candidates for the Marketing Executive role will preferably also have achieved or be working towards their further CIM (or equivalent) qualifications. Candidates for the role will also be required to demonstrate that they have:
- Previous work experience in a same or similar marketing-based role
- Experience of working with software packages such as Wordpress, Hootsuite and CRM systems
- Experience of working within a customer focused environment
- An excellent understanding of sales and marketing strategies with experience of digital marketing practices
- Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
Candidates for the Marketing Executive role should also have:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to be flexible in a fast paced and challenging environment
- The capability to be a hands-on type individual, who demonstrates initiative with a positive and professional outlook
- The ability to work effectively within a team but also under their own initiative, demonstrating that they are an organised and capable individual, used to multi-tasking and can prioritise their workload in order to meet exacting deadlines
