As part of this highly successful organisation, the European business now requires an HRIS Specialist, who will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the HR technology landscape across the Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa region. This role has hybrid/flexible working arrangements.
The Role: Reporting to the Head of HR Operations for the business unit, as the HRIS Specialist, you will provide HRIS guidance to the wider EMEIA team, ensuring systems, data, and processes run smoothly and consistently. In addition, the role will have responsibility for, but not limited to:
- maintaining the various modules on the HR technology platform in line with global standards and regional requirements
- participating in testing, release management and troubleshooting system issues on the platform
- managing and resolving HRIS related tickets
- providing guidance to HR Teams on system functionality and best practices
- producing scheduled and ad hoc compliance reports
- supporting internal and external audit processes by providing accurate system data and documentation
- participating in global HR technology projects as required
- supporting system rollouts, enhancements and integrations across the region
The Candidate: Ideally of graduate standard, candidates for the HRIS Specialist role will preferably have previously worked within a business or HR focused discipline and also preferably achieved, or be working towards their further CIPD qualifications. It would be advantageous for candidates to have previously utilised HR information systems and/or have a keen interest in IT and technology as a support to the HR offering. In addition, candidates for the HRIS Specialist role will also be required to demonstrate that they have:
- previous experience of working with SAP SuccessFactors
- experience with HR ticketing systems
- understanding of HR processes across multiple countries
- familiarity with HR data governance frameworks
- solid planning, project management and organisational skills, with close attention to detail
- previously worked within a complex or multi-national organisation
- excellent IT skills, being fully conversant with software packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- excellent communication skills with a strong commitment to success
- the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
Candidates for the HRIS Specialist role should also be:
- a pro-active, hands-on type individual, who demonstrates initiative and has a positive, professional attitude
- a strong, customer focused individual with the presence and ability to communicate, motivate and influence at the highest level
- capable of working as part of a team or under your own initiative to meet required targets and deadlines
European language skills would be a benefit but are not essential and candidates should note that from time to time, there may be some travel throughout the European division with this role.
