We’re supporting a technology-led organisation building high-throughput, event-driven systems operating at scale. They are looking for a Senior C# Engineer with proven time-series database experience to join a critical platform project. This is not a general backend role. Time-series experience is essential and will be tested in depth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building high-performance backend services in C# / .NET
- Working directly with time-series databases (Azure Data Explorer / Kusto or InfluxDB)
- Designing and optimising data ingestion pipelines for high-volume event data
- Modelling data for efficient time-based querying
- Implementing partitioning strategies, retention policies, and downsampling approaches
- Working within event-driven systems using Azure Service Bus
Core Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Proven, hands-on experience with at least one:
