We are djr, a fast-growing technology recruitment business based in Kingston upon Thames, specialising in Product Engineering, Microsoft technology and digital transformation across the UK and Europe. We work with some exciting businesses, move fast, expect high standards and genuinely care about doing things properly. No politics. No layers. No corporate nonsense.
We’re now looking for an Office / Compliance / Admin Manager to work directly alongside our Founder / MD and become a huge part of the day-to-day running of the business. This role is perfect for someone incredibly organised, proactive and commercially switched on, who enjoys variety and likes being trusted to just get things done. It could be ideal for somebody looking to return to work after having children, now wanting consistent school-friendly hours within a professional, ambitious and supportive environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing contractor onboarding, compliance and payroll processes
- Coordinating contracts, IR35 documentation and timesheet processes
- Managing relationships with payroll, marketing and IT providers
- Auditing payroll and investigating any issues
- CRM ownership and helping improve internal processes
- Diary management and supporting the Founder directly
- Managing invoices, expenses and commission reporting
- Organising meetings, travel, events and office operations
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, contractors and suppliers
- Helping keep the business organised, efficient and moving forward
What we’re looking for:
What matters most is attitude, organisation, ownership and communication. You’ll probably be someone who:
- Loves structure, organisation and problem solving
- Communicates brilliantly and professionally
- Can juggle multiple priorities without dropping standards
- Is proactive and spots problems before they happen
- Enjoys taking ownership rather than waiting to be told
- Is comfortable working closely with senior people
- Wants to be part of a growing business where your work genuinely matters
Experience in operations, office management, administration, compliance, finance support or recruitment support would all be hugely useful.
Why join djr?
Because this is not a “small admin role”. You’ll become a hugely important part of the business. You’ll work closely with the Founder / MD, have real responsibility, real trust and real influence on how things operate internally. You’ll be joining a business with big ambitions, strong values and a genuinely brilliant team environment. Our values are simple: Be Bold, Be Better, No BS.
If that sounds like your kind of environment, we’d love to hear from you.
