As a Senior Tax Manager you’ll be fully immersed with our experienced Tax team to provide great advice to clients. Life will be fast paced, engaging, creative and rewarding.
It’s a great opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Tax Manager to challenge themselves, develop and progress within a forward-thinking and fast-paced firm. You’ll:
- Work closely with our Tax Partners, adding value to the exceptional work we deliver to a varied portfolio of our larger and more complex compliance clients
- Deliver tax advisory work to a wide range of clients with a focus on owner-managed businesses, including tax planning, advising on the acquisition and disposal of businesses and properties, international expansion and reorganisations, demergers, and share option schemes, to name a few
- Deal with HMRC enquiries and investigations, including report writing, financial analysis and technical research
- Provide a technical resource to our network of smaller accountants, whether this is by phone or email support service
- Support with the management, training and development of the tax team, including junior and senior members of the team.
- Have primary responsibility for the operational aspects of the corporation tax compliance process and assist and support members of the team with more complex corporation tax issues
- Work collaboratively with senior managers of the audit department to enhance cross department relationships and provide an exceptional service to clients

- Be an experienced tax manager / senior tax manager who is ready to make a move into a new role that will develop and hone your leadership skills and provide opportunities for progression in the future.
- Be ACCA/ACCA/CTA qualified, with ideally at least 5 years PQE gained in Tax practice
- Have solid experience of advising OMBs on a range of tax issues including corporation tax, income, and capital gains tax, with a bias towards corporation tax.
- Have some exposure to VAT issues would be an advantage, but it’s not a necessity
- Have a proactive attitude, whether a task is complicated or simple, big or small
- Be confident in leading the corporation tax compliance team and working to achieve great things alongside the wider team
