Overview

This role is for a Quality Assurance Manager who will work with the Director of Governance, Risk & Compliance to lead quality control systems, ensuring services and processes meet ICAEW standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality systems, procedures, and standards aligned with ICAEW ethics and practice assurance.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections to assess performance, ensure compliance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor and analyse quality data to identify trends, risks, and the impact of improvement initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts, including enhancements to onboarding platforms and internal processes.
- Deliver training on quality practices and lead the planning and execution of the group\\\’s annual CPD programme.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment with quality standards and regulatory expectations.
- Maintain up-to-date engagement letters, terms, and documentation to support regulatory compliance.
- Assist the GRC Director with implementing compliance policies following acquisitions.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
- ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) qualified, with experience dealing with regulators specifically the ICAEW / ICAS / ACCA.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with relevant quality management software and tools, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated resilience and ability to take decisive action.
- Thrives in a collaborative and progressive environment; strong communication across levels of the organization.
