Let’s talk about the role...
As a Tax Trainee you’ll be fully immersed with our experienced Tax team, learning to provide great advice to clients. Life will be fast paced, engaging, creative and rewarding.
It’s a great opportunity to develop and progress within a forward-thinking and fast-paced firm. You’ll be:
- Assisting the team with the preparation and review of personal tax computations, including data entry and drafting self-assessment tax returns
- Supporting with the preparation and submission of P11D forms and related employer compliance tasks
- Managing client and HMRC correspondence, ensuring timely and professional communication
- Providing support with general tax administration duties, including maintaining accurate records and tracking key deadlines
- Assisting with accounts preparation for sole traders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Supporting with CIS and PAYE matters, excluding day-to-day payroll processing
- Undertaking ad-hoc tasks as required to support the wider tax and accounts team

- Have an excellent academic background, with 5 GCSEs at a minimum level 5 and above, with a level 6 or above in both Maths and English and on track to achieve 3 A Levels (or equivalent) Grade C or above
