As a Tax Manager you’ll be fully immersed with our Leeds team to provide great advice to and assist in overseeing compliance for our client businesses, alongside our experienced client managers. Life will be fast paced, engaging, creative and rewarding. It’s a great opportunity for an ambitious person to challenge themselves, develop and progress within a forward-thinking and fast-paced firm.

You’ll:

  • Work closely with our Group Tax team, adding value to the exceptional work we deliver to a varied portfolio of our larger and more complex compliance clients.
  • Deliver tax advisory work to business owners, including tax planning, advising on the acquisition and disposal of businesses and properties, inheritance tax and estate planning.
  • Deal with HMRC enquiries and investigations, including report writing, financial analysis and technical research.
  • Provide a technical resource to our team and others across the DJH group.
  • Support with the management, training and development of junior team members.

  • Be ACCA/ACCA/CTA qualified, with ideally at least 3 years PQE gained in Tax practice.
  • Have solid experience of advising OMBs on a range of tax issues including corporation tax, income, and capital gains tax.
  • Have some exposure to VAT issues would be an advantage, but it’s not a necessity.
  • Have a proactive attitude, whether a task is complicated or simple, big or small.
  • Be confident in working to achieve great things alongside the rest of the team.
