As a Tax Manager you’ll be fully immersed with our experienced Tax team to provide great advice to clients. Life will be fast paced, engaging, creative and rewarding. It’s a great opportunity for an ambitious person to challenge themselves, develop and progress within a forward-thinking and fast-paced firm.
You’ll:
- Work closely with our Tax Partners, adding value to the exceptional work we deliver to a varied portfolio of our larger and more complex compliance clients.
- Deliver tax advisory work to business owners, including tax planning, advising on the acquisition and disposal of businesses and properties, inheritance tax and estate planning.
- Deal with HMRC enquiries and investigations, including report writing, financial analysis and technical research.
- Provide a technical resource to our network of smaller accountants, whether this is by phone or email support service.
- Support with the management, training and development of junior team members.

- Being ACCA/ACCA/CTA qualified, with ideally at least 3 years PQE gained in Tax practice.
- Having solid experience of advising OMBs on a range of tax issues including corporation tax, income, and capital gains tax.
- Having some exposure to VAT issues would be an advantage, but it’s not a necessity.
- Having a proactive attitude, whether a task is complicated or simple, big or small.
- Being confident in working to achieve great things alongside the rest of the team.
