Let’s talk about the role... As Cloud Accounting Consultant you’ll work closely with the Head of Cloud Advisory to help deliver and develop a growing advisory offering across the wider group. Life will be fast paced, varied, and rewarding. It’s a great opportunity to develop within a forward-thinking and evolving area of the profession. This is not a traditional accounting role. Instead, it sits between cloud accounting, systems implementation, process improvement and operational advisory. The role offers significant exposure across the wider group and the opportunity to help shape the future direction of Cloud Advisory.

As part of the Cloud Advisory team, you’ll:

  • Lead and support cloud accounting and software implementation projects across the group.
  • Work closely with teams and stakeholders to improve operational processes and efficiencies.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of new technologies and AI-driven tools.
  • Manage cloud optimisation and process improvement projects for a wide range of clients.
  • Build strong relationships across multiple offices and become a trusted point of contact internally.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the Cloud Advisory offering.

Let’s talk about you and your skills... Hungry for a new challenge beyond the traditional accounting pathway, you’ll:

  • Be AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified.
  • Have strong practice experience, ideally at Assistant Manager or Manager level.
  • Be highly comfortable with cloud accounting software, particularly Xero.
  • Have experience working with owner-managed businesses and a varied client portfolio.
  • Be tech-savvy and commercially minded, with a genuine interest in systems and process improvement.
  • Be confident managing projects, taking ownership and working independently.
  • Have excellent communication skills and enjoy building relationships with both clients and internal teams.
  • Thrive in a collaborative, progressive and fast-paced environment.
  • Have strong Excel capability and a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Experience with platforms such as Dext, Syft and Futrli would be highly advantageous.
