Overview
Due to increasing work volumes we are looking for a self motivated individual to join our growing business in Colchester. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out HGV & PSV Inspections & Servicing
- Vehicle Diagnostics
- MOT Preparation
- General vehicle repairs and maintenance
Hours
Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm with occasional Saturdays as and when required
Requirements / Qualifications
- Have previous experience working in a busy workshop
- Have a full UK driving license (HGV preferable but not essential)
- Have a strong awareness of health & Safety
- Be reliable and trustworthy
- Be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Take pride in their work
- Welding qualification desirable but not essential
- Rate of Pay negotiable depending on experience
