About this Role
A Level 2 Teaching Assistantsupports pupils' learning while also helping to look after their wellbeingthroughout the school day. They work with individuals or small groups toreinforce lesson content, encourage positive behaviour, and keep childrenengaged, while also helping them feel safe, settled, and cared for. They assistwith classroom routines, prepare resources, and notice how pupils are copingboth academically and emotionally so the teacher can plan next steps
Who we're looking for
DjanoglyStrelley Academy is seeking a caring and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant tosupport pupils with additional needs. The role includes providing personalcare, supporting physical and emotional wellbeing, and helping pupils accesslearning safely and with dignity. Working closely with teaching and SEN staff, the Level 2 Teaching Assistant will play a key role in promoting independence,inclusion and safeguarding within a supportive school environment
