Austin Fraser has the pleasure of representing an exciting start‐up in their search for a Django developer to join a talented team of engineers who are building a ground‐breaking platform making a genuine, life‐saving impact. This medical start‐up develops applications and websites with the objective to raise awareness and direct people to the resources and information they require for a range of health conditions. The business has seen great success and is now expanding their core development team to take their platforms to the next level.
The role of back‐end developer will suit an individual who has extensive development experience using the Django framework and Python programming language. You will believe in taking a thorough test‐driven development (TDD) approach to projects and may even have experience implementing best practices into previous development teams. The Python Django developer will be involved at all levels of application development and strong Linux skills will be a bonus.
Technical Requirements- Extensive development experience with Django
- Extensive programming experience with Python
- Solid understanding and skills with Linux (DevOps approach)
- Agile and Test Driven Development
- Contributing to the open source community desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
In return, the Python Django developer will have the opportunity to join a development team who are spearheading the technology scene within a detailed and targeted medical space.
