Substrakt are looking for a talented
to work full-time on two key projects for the education and creative sectors. There is scope to work on new projects too. You will join a tight-knit team of Django, Rails and PHP developers, building cloud-based apps deployed via Heroku, DigitalOcean and Amazon Web Services.
We plan our projects without getting bogged down in management terminology, so you will get to write code straight away. Our education project has proven incredibly popular since its launch last year and is already exploring an international market, and you will get the chance to help shape our creative startup project as it heads into open beta.
Experience with
- Python, Django 1.6 and Git is a must!
- You should also be familiar with Vagrant, provisioning tools like Ansible
- If you know Rails too then you will really stand out.
You will be joining a passionate, committed and knowledgeable team of developers and UX designers in which everyone codes. We are predominantly based in Birmingham, but we will consider remote working within the Europe.
